STORIES OF IMPACT

Our mission team traveled to Pat’s Place in Lima, Peru with one goal in mind, to be a light in a dark place. Pat’s Place is a refuge for women and children who have escaped domestic violence, and our team went to serve, pray, and love every person there.

On the final day, the Holy Spirit led the team to pray for a young boy with extremely poor eyesight. As they stepped out in faith, believing God could do the impossible, something incredible happened. Through persistent prayer and unwavering trust, his sight was fully restored.

Despite the language barrier and not seeing immediate results, the team continued to believe and pray. Today, that boy no longer needs his glasses and is walking in freedom.

This is just one of many powerful stories from our mission trips. God doesn’t only move through those who go, He can use you too. All it takes is a step of faith.

She Rescue Mission

Sophorn*, a 9-year-old girl, showed incredible courage after speaking up about ongoing abuse from someone her family had trusted. After the situation was reported and the perpetrator was arrested, her mother sought help to ensure her safety.

Sophorn* was welcomed into the SHE Rescue Home just before Christmas, where she began to experience healing, joy, and community. Through safe relationships, counseling, and support, she is now rebuilding her life and beginning to dream again.

Today, Sophorn* hopes to become a police officer so she can help protect other girls like herself. Her story is a powerful reminder that even in the darkest situations, hope, healing, and a new future are possible.

Local Outreach

At a Ballantyne Coffee Giveaway, one of our volunteers took a moment to pray with a couple and invite them to Christmas Eve at our South End Campus. They said yes.

Not only did they come, but they later called to share how deeply it impacted them that we would take the time and resources to genuinely connect with our community.
