CONNECTIONS COORDINATOR

Campus Connections

  • Personally engage guests and attenders to help them feel seen, known, and welcomed into the culture of Freedom House

  • Strategically connect first-time guests and regular attenders to their next step in spiritual growth

  • Lead monthly Next Steps Breakouts in collaboration with the Campus Team

  • Represent connections in Weekend Readiness meetings

  • Maintain regular communication with GroupMe groups for campus leaders, Dream Teams, and campus specific groups

Sunday Experience

  • Be a visible presence in the lobby, connecting guests to relationships and their next best step

  • Encourage and affirm Dream Team volunteers weekly

  • Track connections and engagement in GroupMe and Asana

  • Ensure team leads accurately record attendance in PCO

  • Set up Dream Team check-in and ensure smooth pre-service flow

  • Oversee Guest Services Coordinators and ensure a 5-star Guest Experience

Dream Team Development

  • Cultivate a serve culture that is magnetic, mission-driven, and team-centered

  • Oversee onboarding, training, care, and development for all Guest Services Dream Teams

  • Identify and mentor Dream Team Leaders and Coordinators

  • Celebrate volunteers consistently and creatively

  • Plan and execute Dream Team Appreciation events and Team Nights

LifeGroups

  • Oversee LifeGroup growth at the campus

  • Support LifeGroup Coordinators in identifying and developing apprentices, leaders, coaches, and coordinators

  • Promote LifeGroups at the campus

  • Oversee campus launches, leader scheduling, and lobby engagement strategies

Baptisms

  • Oversee campus-specific baptism experiences, ensuring meaningful moments and intentional guest care

  • Appoint and guide event and volunteer coordinators

  • Promote baptisms and assist with follow-up

Get On Track

  • Support the GOT Coordinators in recruiting and resourcing campus-specific volunteers and leaders

  • Ensure the table is set and an inviting, excellent environment is created at GOT each month

  • Follow up with new members in alignment with GOT SOPs using Ministry Platform

Leadership

  • Oversee leader growth and administration of the Leadership Pipeline at campus

  • Ensure Freedom House Staff Leaders identify and invite leaders to apply, assign roles, and follow up

  • Work with Director of Ministries in Identifying potential leaders, process applications, ensure qualifications, order background checks, assign interviews, and communicate application status

Events

  • Oversee guest services teams for special events

  • Coordinate and mobilize volunteers for events like Baptism, Forward weekend, Encounter, Christmas Eve, Easter, and communion services

To champion relational connection and spiritual growth at Freedom House by guiding individuals into meaningful relationships with Christ and the church. This role exists to help people find belonging, uncover their God-given potential, and take strategic next steps in becoming people of influence.

Primary Purpose

Qualifications & Skills

Facilities: The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of facilities, maintenance and/or mechanical leadership experience. Candidate will have a proven ability to manage multiple projects with strong follow through.

Other skills deemed valuable for this position:

  • Computer Savvy; proficient in MS Office

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills

  • A knack for creative, collaborative problem-solving.
